Hypoxia-responsive microRNAs and trans-acting small interfering RNAs in Arabidopsis
Low-oxygen (hypoxia) stress associated with natural phenomena such as waterlogging, results in widespread transcriptome changes and a metabolic switch from aerobic respiration to anaerobic fermentation.
