1. Ischaemia-reperfusion injury is known to be associated with a range of functional and structural alterations in the liver. However, the effect of this injury on drug disposition is not well understood. The present study was designed to examine the effects of hypoxia/reperfusion on the disposition of glutamate and propranolol in the rat isolated perfused liver.
