Identification and functional characterisation of aquaporins in the grapevine, Vitis vinifera

Plant aquaporins belong to a large superfamily of conserved proteins called the major intrinsic proteins (MIPs). There is limited information about the diversity of MIPs in grapevine, and their water transport capacity.
