Mannitol 1-Phosphate Metabolism Is Required for sporulation in Planta of the Wheat Pathogen Stagonospora nodorum

An expressed sequence tag encoding a putative mannitol 1-phosphate dehydrogenase (Mpd1) has been characterized from the fungal wheat pathogen Stagonospora nodorum.
