Description: One of the most beautiful examples of Early Dynastic craftsmanship from the cemetery. The handle consists of a piece of lapis lazuli studded with golden nails. Rich filigree work and granulation decorate one side of the sheath
the other is quite plain. -- "Royal Tomb", Meskalamdu(g) phase, c. 2685-45 BC, l : 37 cm (Baghdad).
