|Description:||Made from a single sheet of gold with added perforated ears, this "wig" was lying beside the head of the alleged Prince Meskalamdu(g). Was it used for solely a funerary ornament? Perforations along the edge probably used to attach lining. -- end of the 27th century BC, h : 23 cm (Baghdad).|
