Description: Wooden box with mosaics of shell, red limestone and lapis lazuli. Bull's head of gold sheet over a wooden core, lapis lazuli and silver. Height of sounding-box, c. 20 cm. Sounding box of a lyre decorated with four fields of mosaic on front : on top Im-dugud slaying 2 gazelles, then 2 bulls reaching for plants growing on rocks, then a bull-man subduing 2 panthers, & (bottom) a lion attacking a bull. -- Royal Cemetery, the tomb of Pu-abi (Shubad) (British Museum).
