Description: A hermit boy set before children as the model of unshakable piety and faith. He received the blessing of Visnu (seen here in the picture), became a great sage, and on his death was translated to heaven as the Pole Star, which is regularly called Dhruva, meaning 'firm' or 'fixed'.
