Description: Depicting a sensuously curved lady strolling amidst expressively stylized trees, the painting from Rajasthan is wholly Indian in inspiration, with the rough brushwork, vigorous rhythms, expressive distortion, and inner view of nature of the pre-Muslim tradition. The colours and tones convey an atmosphere of vitality and intensity.
