The cultural semantics of the Japanese emotion terms 'Haji' and 'Hazukashii'
This paper presents a cultural semantic analysis of the Japanese emotion terms ‘haji’ and ‘hazukashii’, made using the methodology of the Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM).
