The Australian National University (ANU) in collaboration with Chromasun Inc., a US-based company, is developing a new hybrid CPV-Thermal (CPV-T) micro-concentrator (MCT) system that works at a concentration ratio of between 20 to 30X. The system design and reliability testing have been integrated as concurrent processes, enabling the early optimisation of the concentrator system receiver design.
