Description: Although Muslim in theme (a diminishing minaret) it is the work of Hindu architects who have not forgotten the Gupta columns & medieval sikharas. Above all its decoration (e.g. stone lacework) is evocative of North Hindu ornamentation, particularly Jaina decoration for which the Turco-Afghan conquerors seem to have had a special predilection. -- 73 metres high, 5 stages divided by 4 circular balconies.
