Ion-irradiation-induced amorphization of cobalt nanoparticles
The amorphization of Co nanoparticles embedded in SiO2 has been investigated by measuring their structure and size, before and after ion irradiation, by x-ray absorption spectroscopy and small-angle x-ray scattering, respectively.
