Author(s): | Frederic, Louis Photographer: Arthur Llewellyn Basham |

Description: | Each frieze consists of a number of figures, placed side by side, sometimes separated by pilasters. The deeply cut grooves which separated the friezes produce a play of shadows which increases the decorative effect of the whole and allows the architecture to keep its unity despite the abundance of decoration. |
