The nerves and muscles of medusae. III. A decrease in the refractory period following repeated stimulation of the muscle of Rhizostoma pulmo
Summary Evidence is presented to show the shortening of the refractory period of some of the elements in a population of coelenterate muscle fibres following frequent stimulation of the bell of Rhizostoma pulmo.
