Description: Called dvarapalas, these are extremely widespread in Indian iconography, They are always armed and are supposed to protect the sanctuary from evil spirits, Shows the warrior outfit of the period: spear, quiver, cape, wide necklace and multiple bracelets, He wears a loin cloth, Hairstyle is characteristic of the period, It is really the portrait of a man, not some exceptional being, Treatment of the body is stylised, and proportions are remarkable,
