Rafting dispersal in a brooding southern sea star (Asteroidea : Anasterias)

Marine biogeographers have long speculated that macroalgal rafting presents a dispersal mechanism for brooding marine invertebrates of the Southern Ocean, but few direct observations of rafting by echinoderm taxa have been documented.
