Extracellular Interactions of Alpha-Synuclein in Multiple System Atrophy

Multiple system atrophy, characterized by atypical Parkinsonism, results from central nervous system (CNS) cell loss and dysfunction linked to aggregates of the normally pre-synaptic α-synuclein protein.
