Surface passivation and characterisation of crystalline silicon by wet chemical treatments
This thesis concerns the development of low temperature surface passivation films by wet chemical treatments. The low temperatue processing minimises the energy requirements, and the excellent surface passivation is adequate for achieving high solar cell efficiencies, both of which can contribute to a reduction in the cost of photovoltaics and its drive towards grid parity.
