The CDEP scheme: A flexible and innovative employment and community development program for Indigenous Australians
This paper focuses on the CDEP scheme in remote and very remote Australia. The characteristics of CDEP participants are described and available evidence on the social and economic impacts of the scheme is summarised. There has been little research using large scale data sets on the CDEP scheme in very remote areas of Australia.
