Wrist acupressure for post-operative nausea and vomiting (WrAP): a pilot study

Post-operative nausea and vomiting are undesirable complications following anaesthesia and surgery. It is thought that acupressure might prevent nausea and vomiting through an alteration in endorphins and serotonin levels.
