A comparison of two theories of dense fluids

An improved method for obtaining solutions to integral equations for the two-particle distribution functions of simple fluids has been developed. The method has been applied to the Percus Yevick and Hypernetted Chain approximations, particularly in the region of the liquid-vapour co-existence curve.
