Models of Mating System Evolution: Gamete Competition, Hermaphroditism and Sexual Selection
To understand how mating systems evolve, we depend on both (i) theoretical explanations and predictions, supported by mathematical modelling, and (ii) quantitative tools to test predictions rigorously.
