Description

The purpose of this thesis is to examine and describe the phonology of the dialect of Grottaminarda Special attention will be given to the interplay between the mid-orders of the vocalic system and the nominal morphology. The investigation will be conducted on both diachronic and synchronic axes, and an attempt will be made to present the phonemic inventory in generative terms.
