Ecology and Conservation Of the Endangered Forty-spotted Pardalote

The forty-spotted pardalote (Pardalotus quadragintus) is an endangered songbird endemic to eastern Tasmania. These birds specialize on forests containing Eucalyptus viminalis (white gum tree) for foraging, and require tree cavities for nesting.
