Description

This thesis describes the study of tungsten complexes bearing phosphorusfunctionalised carbyne ligands. The development of two generalised synthetic routes towards phosphinocarbyne complexes is presented. The further functionalisation and derivatisation of these phosphinocarbyne complexes highlights their synthetic versatility.
