Description: | Frank Lundie joined the Amalgamated Shearers' Union of Australasia (from 1894 Australian Workers' Union) in 1887 and two years later became president of its Adelaide branch. He was its paid, full-time organiser from 1892 until 1900 when he became secretary, a position he kept until his death in 1933. Lundie was also president of the South Australian branch of the United Labourers' Union, 1907-1912, and vice-president of the South Australian branch of the Labor Party, 1924-1925 and 1929-1930. |
