Description
Environmental issues associated with the silvicultural practice of clearcutting within native forest are categorized as follows : issues related to regeneration and stand development, the ecological stability of forest ecosystems, conservation of natural environments, catchment values, harvesting practice, other forest values, fire management, and economic evaluation of land use and management proposals.
