An ethnographic bibliography of New Guinea

This bibliography provides a key to the literature on the indigenous peoples of New Guinea, including Irian Barat and the smaller islands of the Trusteeship Territory. It contains some ten thousand entries ranging from midnineteenth-century publications to those appearing in 1964 and covers all aspects of the traditional and changing cultures of the people.
