The Chinese Librarians Delegation's visit to Australia was organised in accordance with the 1992-93 Implementing Program of the Australia-China Cultural Exchange Agreement. The delegation, which was interested in the development of library automation and bibliographic networks in Australia, was hosted by the National Library of Australia.
