This dissertation is an attempt to measure systematically Australia public opinion as it relates to foreign policy. This measurement is taken over a considerable time span, generally speaking, the post-World War II era, but major emphasis has been given to the years between 1966 and 1972, with one chapter looking at the period after 1972.
