Characterization of high-efficiency silicon solar cells

Abstract

Preliminary results on silicon solar cells of improved performance recently have been described. The present paper describes the results of a more detailed optical and electrical characterization of these devices. The high performance of the cells is shown to be due to a high optical efficiency and near ideal junction characteristics combined with low parasitic resistance losses. Show more
