This outstanding and sustained record of achievement in research, teaching, mentorship and science communication has been acknowledged by award of a Bragg Membership from the Royal Institution of Australia (2016), an Order of Australia (2008), a Fellowship of the World Academy of Arts & Sciences (2003), and the Australian Museum inaugural Eureka Prize for the Promotion of Science (1990).en
