Abstract

The need for more information on the food habits and beliefs of The Australian community has led to several recent surveys of nutrition and food knowledge and beliefs (Brell, 1976; Boocock, 1978; Heywood, in press), and to a number of studies of food intake itself (Hitchcock and Gracey, 1978; and review by Gracey, 1978).
