Abstract

Frequency-domain bounds are computed for the approximation error involved in the optimum Hankel-norm approximation procedure. The bounds differ from those arising in the unweighted optimal Hankel-norm approximation procedure by a multiplicative factor depending solely on the weighting function. This factor becomes unity when the weighting function is constant.
