dc.description.abstractWe have studied, theoretically and experimentally, coupling to propagating volume modes in a lamellar metal/dielectric metamaterial with hyperbolic dispersion. Highly efficient light penetration though tens of metamaterial's layers suggests reasonably low propagation loss.en
