Abstract

Due to the rapidly changing nature of the epidemic and the paucity of knowledge about key factors determining its spread, it is necessary to regularly update all forecasts. Here we present AIDS projections on the basis of reports to the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research to 30 September 1989.
