Abstract

In 1975 the then Commonwealth Government decided to fund an ambitious modelling project. Mindful of the fact that the impact of any policy change can only be adequately assessed in a systems framework, it was decided to construct a suite of models to explore the impact of economic, technological and demographic changes upon the Australian economy.
