Abstract

Description

16 April 1997. Note with tape: Carolyn Eskdale is a Melbourne-based artist whose installations and individual works transform domestic forms to reveal an eroded psychology. Combining furniture and muslin, she creates spaces of preserved memories, alluding to female lineage and the territorial nature of the domestic sphere. Her work Untitled Room can be seen as part of Rapport in the CSA Gallery, 18 April - 18 May.
