Abstract

View looking north, of curving cliffs along the Swan River. The vegetation growing in the pale rocky ground is sparse and low. Various buildings and a large cleared area can be seen on the left. From 1890 onwards these limestone cliffs were quarried for stone which was used to build the Fremantle Harbour moles.
