Mr G. Davies from Monash University (left) and Mr G. Smith from the University of Newcastle discuss their work on the reduction of star data at a computer at Mount Stromlo Observatory. Mr Davies and Mr Smith were attached to the Department of Astronomy, Research school of Physical Sciences, as vacation scholars in January-February 1965.
