dc.description.abstract14 October 2004. -- Karen Searle is a fibre artist from the USA who exhibits and lectures internationally. She uses the tools of domesticity to assert the validity of 'women's work' and the feminine view. Her sculptural works are inspired by women's bodies and their lives. Karen Searle is Visiting Artist in the Textiles Workshop.
