Visit by Mr Dong Zhiyong (Vice-Minister in the Ministry of Forestry, China) to Forestry Building

Abstract

Mr Dong visited the Forestry Department, Faculty of Science, with four directors and deputy-directors from the Chinese Ministry of Forestry. Mr Dong, who is the Vice-President of the China Wildlife Conservation Association, is in Australia for the signing of an Australia-China migratory birds treaty and to discuss the loan of pandas for the Australian Bicentenary, as well as looking at Australian forestry, parks and wildlife management and education.
