dc.description | Two niches on the south wall are shown here. The columns surrounding these niches are often dissimilar. Also, the decorations above the niches show variations in the use of the "honey-comb" kudu. The temple as a whole consists of heterogeneous elements, as though the architect attempted to create a new style by combining all the architectural and decorative knowledge of his period. -- Detail of the exterior of the wall. | |
