Photographer's note: This photograph was taken with the aid of pilot Rob Willis-Jones, Missionary Aviation Fellowship, Tari, Southern Highlands (now Hela) Province. The Muller Range, stretches south-east from the Tumbudu Valley. In the highlands behind the Range, the Duna people occupy the Kopiago Basin and the narrow stony valleys of the Tumbudu and Upper Pori Rivers. This photograph was shot about 5 kilometres upstream of the point where the Western, Sandaun and Hela provinces meet on the Strickland River.
