Here is a good view of one of the main streets of Mohenjo-daro's main city showing the type of masonry used in the buildings on either side of the thoroughfare and the sort of drainage devices incorporated into the street itself, There was no pavement on these avenues, Like for the floors of the houses, only beaten earth sufficed, The drains, however, were carefully run out from the houses via small canals of closely fitted brick to larger canals running the length of the streets, This larger drain is visible at the far right of the slide,
