Abstract
Description
The eggs of the silkworm are dipped in brine or in a solution made from the ashes of the twigs of the mulberry tree. Subsequently they are wrapped in heavy silken material and placed in a warm spot to hatch. When the eggs become green, small ant-like larvae emerge.
