Abstract
1 August 2002. -- Sharon Peoples designed the "Crimson Thread" for the National Museum of Australia in 1999. Her current practice uses embroidery as a metaphor for embellishing and covering up historical stories; she will discuss decoration and the body. Sharon Peoples is currently visiting artist in the CSA Textiles Workshop.
