Abstract
Description
This photograph was taken at the Bulong longhouse, 142. 19 E. 5. 49 S. Universal grid reference 54M XU454573 (1: 100 000 Karoma map sheet 7386). Photographer's note: N'Do was a Bogaia man whose mother was a Febi (Sinale) woman. He had recently completed training at Angugunak in the West Sepik (now Sandaun) Province with the Christian Mission of Many Lands (CMML) to become a pastor. As he would be working among the Bogaia and Febi people
he was keen to accompany us. He contributed greatly to the success of the trip because of his lively personality and his fluency in Pidgin, Duna and Bogaia languages.
