local.description.notesElizabeth Street, Hobart. Created 1911-1914, the archway was hand carved by three expert stonemasons. Was re-erected in Hobarts Botanical gardens. Dates 1818-1968 were added to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the gardens.
